LS2 technologies
Every LS2 motorcycle helmet, whether fiberglass, composite or polycarbonate, consists of three different main components. The outer shell, the shock-absorbing EPS layer, as well as the comfort features such as inner lining, visor or the ventilation system.
The three main production methods are:
— Thanks to a high-precision industrial process, the polycarbonate is injected into metal molds.
— Composite barrels are blended together with an impenetrable polymer resin for high abrasion resistance.
— Multiple layers of carbon fiber are also mixed with the polymer resin. The molds here have to withstand temperatures of over 120º
